My experience with using Checkra1n + iCloud Bypass

I have 2 phones I tried this on: an iPhone 5S which I purchased in a lot of phones, the owner forgot the password to the Apple account on it (it belonged to his wife) and an iPhone 6S I purchased which has modem problems.

This was really not a hard process, but initially I was deterred by how limited it seemed. I initially thought you could not install apps which would limit much use of the device, but turns out you can.

This will give you iPod like functionality to an activation locked phone, not full complete function, but good enough if you need to use the device for the basics.

Things that do not work:
-cellular
-imessage
-icloud services
-Siri
-screenshots
-backing up phone to computer or icloud

Things that should still work
-Camera
-Screen recording
-GPS
-Wifi
-Bluetooth
-Carplay
-Most apps

With Cydia you can get all of the not working functions to, working. Like screenshots you can get a tweak which removes the screenshot preview, and then screen shots will work perfectly fine. For the cellular their is a tutorial on YouTube to get it working.

Sim (Cellular) worked for me in nearly all d bypass. Idk how but yay! Even the iPhones from overseas are working fine with cellular.

You can use the Accessibility Menu to take screenshots!

Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch
Enable assistivetouch. Now click SINGLE-TAP under custom actions. Select SCREENSHOT
Tap the accessibility menu to take a screenshot


Triple tap the home button to show / hide the accessibility menu
Go to Settings > Accessibility : tap Accessibility Shortcut : choose AssistiveTouch

I downloaded both pkgs just to have if I need them later. I noticed the one click folder has the older checkra1n beta in it. Not sure if that’ll interfere with the latest iOS or added devices in the latest ra1n releases. Nice vid tho! Keep up the great work, Ian!

I'm not one of the people to use the iCloud bypass on a stolen phone like some would, but I was forced to do it after my 5S 12.4.3 parts phone had a dead baseband chip (iCloud off lol). used ra1nusb, worked fine. I heard some have screenshot issues but assistivetouch works for me.

Once you are Jailbroken just go to root find the setup app and delete it then it won't icloud lock again.

I used shift key to bypass 13.3.1 and face these problems...plz can u suggest some solutions for these problems=
i have a lot more problems to share
1)no notifications froms apps
2)doesnot allow to acess camera in some most used apps
3)respringing frequently in pressing home button
4)not downloading apps directly.ie.u shoud download first in other device and later install
5)dont let u to sign in in some apps
