This video is testament to the fact that no matter what incredible physical trick you perform, it's just wallpaper.

Goodness me, I've been waiting for a HD version of this video and had completely missed this upload. Thanks nzoz1984. I've been watching the really bad quality version all this time.

Remember this series well - 12 yr old boy, seeing what grown ups are out in the ' real world ', crush on the pretty blonde who loves dancing so much etc etc... I cannot be the only one. It's so clear, once learned, its Deborah Conway singing the track yet nobody knew back in the day.

I remember this when it came out in 1984. I was 12 years old but I had a feeling the band was Australian and nice to see I was right all this time. They have a healthy Aussie vibe about them

I loved Sweet & Sour when it aired 💜 Only now have I just found out Deborah Conway sings the vocals.

The importance of this track & the accompanying video is its pure expression of the early to mid-eighties "Vibe". I wouldn't call either the video or song "classics" in the traditional sense, but their historical value cannot be denied.

Sharon O'Neill wrote some great stuff! When the show came out, I had no idea that she was responsible for this great song. I should have known better.

Do wish they'd make the series available to watch somewhere.
Thanks for sharing.

I love the 80s sound so clean and pure distinctive and cheerful unlike today’s dross

They were doing this long before Milli Vanilli

Shouldn’t be name of the band be amended to Deborah Conway . The takeaway is never existed. They’re just a bunch of actors mining the song.
