Once a week you want to ensure you get your puff on! 😮‍💨

As part of our DRT programs we integrate interval training into the workouts with the type of exercises we do and then from DRT2 onwards we have the option of adding in some extra intervals if you wish. 🏃‍♀️

Running is an easy way to do this, however runnings not for everyone, I get it. So there are other ways you can get your ‘puff’ on and using a step is a prime example.

A great place to start is once a week do an interval session, this could be anything from jogging, rowing, skipping, ski ergs, boxing and good ol step ups or even marching on the spot. Find something you can do and will do. Then aim to do 30 seconds as fast as you can with 1 minute rest. And repeat this 8 times for a good place to start. Ensure that each effort gets your ‘puff’ on and your heart rate up.

This will play huge dividends to your overall stamina and it’s such a short quick and effective way to boost your fitness. And you can do it in your jodhpurs!
