Anything that brings more people to MTB is valid. Nice work, Liv Giant!

This reminds me of when Northstar does the Pumps to Pedals evenings. The difference is that they would keep the lifts running an extra hour every friday just for women. That way they had the whole bike park to themselves rather than just one line. I thought i was a great idea to get more women in the sport.

What's stopping ladies from riding normally? I can guarantee most of them are faster than me or any other Joey out there on a line

I ride with a lot of girls and they can shred with the best👍.
More girls on the trails please 😀

Guys - I wish I could find a cool chick that liked to ride bikes. I wonder why there aren't more of them around?
Also guys - get the f*** of the trails and get back in the kitchen! Haha, showed them who's boss!

I've been watching loads of Whistler videos lately (Seth, Phil etc), and there seem to be SO MANY trails...if one trail get shut for 3 hours, it seems like you'd just go to the next awesome trail that's still open. Why hate on something that might just get more ladies riding bikes, isn't that something we all want to see for the sport of cycling? More participation across all demographics?

Isn't making it only for women, discrimination against men? Like don't get me wrong these are great riders but why not just let everyone ride

everyone here wants equality like if there is women a-line day, there should be men a-line day, but really whats the point? would it be any different for you than normal day? no Its not about total equality but rather allowing them to have lots of fun for very little sacrifice (closing it for a day) They should do maybe same for low skilled riders too so they can have as much fun as shredders usually have. This does not bring equality but more fun for everyone and growth of MTB as whole, favoring male shredders most at the end anyway

I want to use this line, (even thought i'm a guy) because i am a slow bike rider.

I really don't like this sort of thing, why can't we all just ride together and be happy?! Women's only days are as bad as pink bikes with flowers on, condescending and infantilizing. I'd be super unhappy if one of my favourite trails was shut down for a men only day!

The comments thread on this video is so predictably sad. So you must be doing something right, awesome initiative.

3:32 Everyone expect a guy that wants to ride down a line.
Come on, if you have women only events you also have to have men only events and becuase that is ridiciolus you should have neither of them.

Looks great, I've got to hope some of the shocking comments below are just incredibly dated and pathetic attempts at humor. You remind me of the boring old sad farts that used to hang out at my Dads sailing club, their gone, the clubs gone and no one cares (ps I like sailing so a shame), so have a think where you want you your sport to go! Days like this are great, whether for kids, novices, masters, can give a group of people the chance to get in and experience trails or skills levels that they may feel blocked from. Im currently in New Zealand and thankfully the trails are fully inclusive and supportive with nearly as many women to men and it makes for a great atmosphere and youd be laughed or pushed off the trail if you sprouted that misogynistic crap. Get with the programe
