Another great video guys! Tortas ahogadas can vary widely depending on where you get them from (there are ones with delicious fish “carnitas” and cream-based sauces, for example, as well as ones that definitely pack more of a kick). Try a few more before you leave Jalisco! If you come to Chapala/Ajijic feel free to reach out - it’s a sort of surreal experience with the amount of gringos here, but we’ve found our own niche for the time we’ve been in Chapala. It brings back memories of visiting my aunt. I love the food, the music and the people. It is such a relaxing vacation and a different culture. We want all of our families to travel safely to and from Mexico, with all respect!

There's probably a higher price for foreigners, but you don't have to haggle so hard with people who have a minimum wage of about $17 a day.
