Fun nerd fact: Menat takes her name from another name for Hathor, the Egyptian goddess of feminine love and beauty who could also be a fierce warrior. A menat was also the name for a wide collared necklace worn by Egyptian gods; Menat wears one around her neck in her story costume.

I love the clear inspiration in Rhythmic Gymnastics that Menat has in her movements, it's so good to see such a creative character on screen

Viola was not the original character that had an orb for attacks, it was Amakusa in the OG Samurai Showdown/Spirit. When SCV was released I hoped that there would be a cross-over between SC and SS because they added supers, projectiles, but alas it never happened (yet).
