This is by far my song of 2022. Found it on Spotify in July and since then not a single day without it.
But why?
Is it because it is such a great song, well written with a good tension curve, passion, intro, bridge and outro?
Is it because the voice is so good, touching and moving, well sung and perfectly balanced between melt and scratch?
Is it because the lyrics caught me and it is not about the things everyone sings about?
I would say yes to all of that, but what really caught me is this honest little picture, this glimpse of moments, that I have myself
or I know people I love are in, brought to me like a good and close friend is talking to me, caring or crying out, it is those few minutes
of friendship everybody needs and should have every day.
Thank you Ryan Mack. For me personally the Spotify song is a masterpiece and the acoustic version the least is as good.
