What's up guys, I'm PD and welcome back to the channel.
Today in this video I wanna show you the evolution of the Honda Civic Type R from 1997 to 2020.
So Let's talk about it!

1997 Honda Civic Type R (EK9)
The Honda Civic Type R was introduced in August 1997.
The first Civic to receive the 'Type R' nameplate was based on the 6th-generation of the fan-base 'EK' Civic.

2001 Honda Civic Type R (EP3)
The performance-oriented Type R was redesigned in 2001 with the introduction of the seventh generation Civic.

2006 Honda Civic Type R (FD2/FN2)
The new Type-R is built on two separate chassis FD2 and the FN2.

2008 Honda Civic Type R
Honda refreshed its entire Civic lineup in 2008, presenting the new models at the Paris Motor Show.

2015 Honda Civic Type-R (FK2)
The next-generation of the Honda Civic Type R was introduced at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
It is the first factory turbocharged Civic Type R.

2017 Honda Civic Type-R (FK8)
The fifth-generation Honda Civic Type-R was introduced in 2017 after being unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in November 2016.
It was crowned Top Gear Magazines Hot Hatch of the Year 2017.
