Do you struggle when a Reading Comprehension passage contains more than one point of view in the GMAT or Executive Assessment? Sometimes there can be several viewpoints to keep track of -- you can lose the thread of the passage if you're not very careful.

In this video, Alex -- a GMAT Ninja tutor -- will show you how to keep track of these different points of view when they're presented in a passage. He'll help you understand these viewpoints so you can efficiently and accurately answer the questions.

A message to the editors- Please put the passage on the screen along with the questions. It helps to have a quick look at the package, to find evidence for the right answer.

one grammatical correction. apostrophe will be always like this > Krontiris' for words ending with S. and not like this> Krontiris's. This is to avoid hissing sound it generates.

Thank you so much Alex for the video. I am struggling to understand the long sentences that go for 3 to 4 lines, like we see on these passages. Sometimes I reread but it is extremely difficult to decipher what is exactly happening in a particular sentence maybe because of the indirect wordings or vocabulary. How do I improve from this weakness? Any tips on how I can get to understand the gist without rereading too much?

@gmatninjatutoring. Great video.. One question: on Passage 1 Question 3 20:24 - I chose option D because Woody pointed to An Essay on Woman as "reflecting a shift in view" which I took to mean that it offered one of the most original arguments in favor of women's education. Any pointers to avoid making that type of mistake?

prob one of the harder videos to follow. Had to keep going back and forth the video to see the questions and answers. Also, the speaker is standing in front of the board with the notes which is really annoying

RC 2, Question 2: If you look at the first statement of the 2nd paragraph, it states: *"work focusing on middle & Upperclass European women"* and the last line of 1st paragraph says *"observation about upperclass Italian women."* Don't you think that both fall under the *Privileged Group* as mentioned in point E of question 2 ? So if both are focusing on Privileged women, how does that create a difference anyhow?
Please help, really confused here.

In the 3rd question why the answer isn’t D? “Feminist scholars cites his view as a prelude to their presentation of rich historical evidence of women’s inequality “

Quick question 17:08
Passage 1, Q. No. 2
To put the question in a gist it talks about how Kerber's work in different from Woody's.
Kerber work was stating things after the American revolution whereas option be states 'prior American revolution' so that means its talking about Woody's work and not Kerber's. That one discusses about one amongst them and not the difference between both.
How does it make the do you come to conclusion of that being an answer? Please help me out
Thanks in advance.

For passage 1, questions no 3 (a) option claims that education opportunities *after 1750* .it can be before 1750 too .can anyone clarify?

To put Passage 2, question 3 here: the Feminist Scholars repeatedly cited Burckhardt's view to support their point that the struggle for equality has existed since the Renaissance. "Jacob Burckhardt’s view that Renaissance European women “stood on a footing of perfect equality” with Renaissance men has been repeatedly cited by feminist scholars as a prelude to their presentation of rich historical evidence of women’s inequality." Now, If I go by the literal meaning of "prelude" it means this POV helped them put this point forward that it's an ongoing issue for a long time. So, isn't Option E a better choice that states Burckhardt's view includes historical evidence to support the scholar's arguments?

Minute: 14
Passage 1, Question 1:
The author clearly mentions Wood's work to be a notable exception because it shares evidence of the period before the revolution. Why isn't the answer B?
Whereas in E, it's not even mentioning the significance by justifying with a timeline and rather just mentioning that the it was atypical. It's just a fact that the work studied the education of girls but what is the motive/the why.

Please explain
