When our boys were young (in the 90's) we used to go to YYC just for plane Spotting. That was when we could park the pick up truck at the chain link fence, fairly close to the runways. The kids would stand in the bed of the truck and wave their arms and the pilots and some of the passengers would wave back.🤣

Hmmmm….. judging by the Calgary tower and the air traffic control, his location is somewhere in the NE section of the air power, behind/ in front (IDK) of runway 17L/35R
