Trigonometric Substitution Problem 3 (Calculus 2)

Показать описание
This is a really good trigonometric substitution problem that tends to appear on tests and exams. After using a tangent substitution we're left with a trig. integral that looks difficult. However, it's actually pretty simple once we use a fundamental technique: rewriting everything in terms of sines and cosines. After that it's a simple substitution and the usual work for converting back to x using a conversion triangle.
