They should updated the instructions to just say..

“Pull so hard you feel like you are going to break it.”

This wiper blade is very easy to use if you are using the pre-installed mount. Otherwise removing it to use the other adapters is extremely difficult because the instruction manual is global and doesn't have any language in it. Just a bunch of generic photos doesn't make the removal seem very easy but actually very difficult. There is no troubleshooting whatever

In stead of "pull f-ing hard", try prying the original attachment off with a screw driver. There are two sets of little prongs on each side of the underside of the adapter that you can gently pry out to more easily remove the adapter. Also, don't show someone with dainty little hands and polished nails removing something that a weightlifter would have trouble with. :-)

Well ain’t that something I don’t wish to do for a very long time! Worst instructions ever!
Took me 40 minutes to finally decide to look up a dang video! I thought I was going to break the wipers if I pulled any harder to remove the piece that came with the wiper. Turns out I had to pull even harder. Finally I was successful.

I swear to god these are such a pain in the ass if your car doesnt use the pre installed adapters they really should sell these seperately with different adapters attached other than that these wipers are very reliable.

Removing the plastic piece is not as easy or as smooth as it shows. Basically you have to rip it off and it’s makes a noise like you broke it.

Had to watch this video to figure out how to remove the #1 attachment (pull f-ing hard). Other than that no issues installing them on my 2017 Escape SE.

Thanks goodness for this video, the instructions these things came with were useless as hell

I just buy OEM GM blades for my verano. Comes with the right adapter already on blade . Installs in less than 2 minutes and cost same or less than other brands.

Yes Ted, the idiots missed a trick there and seem to assume the customer has a car with no wiper blades initialy
The help lines do not seem bothered to get back on this when a question is logged.
Uther blades are available and I suggest you vote with your feet.

Can you use J-hook type blades and these clip on ones interchangeably? My car is newer and came with these clip on ones, but they're more expensive.. ? Can I get an adapter to use the J-hook type?

2024 update.. still pull hard. Works better as quick motion, don't go slow with increasing force. Rip that shit off like it owed you money yesterday.

Bosch should get IKEA to do their diagrams. My first wiper nearly broke my tendons and took half an hour. Second one came off easily and took about two minutes.

The picture shown above is worthless. You need to pull the part that rotates away from the wiper and it will come off .

This is Bosch's channel, and i'm noticing they don't respond to anyone! This is lousy customer service! I just may look elsewhere for a wiper blade then.

I'm having trouble with what should be a simple installation and this video IS NO HELP. Taking them back to the parts store right now.

The adapters are pointless when the adapter it comes with won’t even come off. They make it look so easy in this video, yet it won’t budge. These wipers are shit and I feel like I just wasted soooo much money because they cost so damn much.

Just over $80 for two Bosch ICON blades only to realize after several hours that *Bosch Icon blades are not compatible with top-lock wiper arms* ... period.

Bosch 'advertises' the blades having a "universal" adaptor for all wiper arm types. As it turns our, their "universal" adaptor is not universal - unless they mean using duct tape to attach Icon blades to a top lock wiper arm. Because Icon adaptor doesn't work - it's not even CLOSE to working. Unless you have duct tape or a welding torch. _Furthermore_ the package itself contains no instructions. Whatsoever. Nada. Zip. Zero. Not one word. All they provide is these also word-less videos with terribly annoying music especially annoying when you've spent hours trying to connect blades to your car that in fact, cannot be attached. Bosch, you're not even within Hubble telescope range of "half assed" in this product and support. And for $80+ you frankly should be ashamed.

Bosch, you 've lost a customer for any of your goods. Ever. Icon are supposed to be the 'higher end' model yet you provide false advertising of "universal adaptor" that won't fit top lock arms, in a package without a speck of instructions. That $82.34 is the very last penny you'll ever get from me. Pennies which I can't claw back because *YAY* opened wiper blades cannot be returned to the auto parts store where I got them. "Bosch policy" the man said. And totally not surprising in retrospect.

*RATING: 0 out of 5 stars*

Yes was difficult to get it off/then I squeezed it just pulled on her /pop! Then I put the wrong number on six instead of a number three. That wasn't too bad switching. It's all good now and I didn't ruin it 🤣
