After hearing about another SCP called The Eye Pods and how one helped re-contain 173 by looking at it with its unblinking eye, this can be a game changer. The eyes that look at SCP-173 do not need to be human to keep the anomaly at bay, so someone should be able to put a bunch of flies in 173's presence to keep it from becoming active. Each fly has many unblinking eyes, so 173 will not be snapping any necks if there are enough flies around.
