This is the best way to make this style bag because you start at the top by sewing the top part of the shoulder strap together. The other methods do that part last and it's harder and more confusing. If you stumbled across this method, this is the one you need! The other methods are harder. You found the right spot!

I love your videos. Thank you. I want to work with furniture upholstery for making bags but I'm new at sewing and not sure how to sew my handle ends together. No matter how careful I think I am being, they always seem to end up different widths. And your bags are so easy, but I'm not sure if I would be able to pull thick upholstery material through that thin handle tunnel. you have any tips for workingbwith thick fabrics?
