Will these chickens eat these caterpillars?

I've given my chickens some tent caterpillars before, and they have really loved them. But today I found that we have more of these tent caterpillars making nests around some of the trees at the barn. In order to get rid of these caterpillars I got the branches they were on and put them inside the chicken coop, so hopefully the chickens will devour them and they will absolutely love them.

Bag worms as they are called can kill a tree..

Maybe ducks or guinea fowl would be more aggressive at eating the caterpillars.

Chickens may be dumb but they aren't that stupid. By their very lack of reaction tells you what you need to know.
Missed the fact that the wild birds won't eat them, did you??? Might be a reason for that, ya think???

Nothing that I know of eat gypsy moth caterpillars. Supposedly they smell bad and taste worse
