I keep my Guide in his own room next to the rooms containing the Zoologist and Golfer with all of their rooms being part of my large rectangular base for convenience/laziness.

I make little sheds for them, usually putting up little signs with their names on it, this just looks like straight torture for them man.

Usually I dont have time to make proper houses for my NPCs, but, when I do, I give it my best.

I like making designed houses for my npcs, but when theres so much I haven't made houses for yet, I just make a bunch of prisoner houses to hold the rest of the npcs I dont have actual houses for. I make them a house later and then move them :P

when the guide spawns I would just throw a guide voodoo doll into lava because the pre-hard-mode bosses are just a joke once you enter hard-mode

That’s not me, I build regular houses… I just fully submerge it in water, with the light source being a torch surrounded by blocks and a block above the water
