In this video, I'll show you how to decorate a classic, traditional Christmas tree using gold beaded garlands, Shiny Brite ornaments, gold starbursts, family ornaments, & more! Finished with a vintage style star tree topper, this ribbon-less look will give your home the perfect, cozy nostalgic look of Christmas's past! I'll talk about perfect ornament placement, how to apply the beaded garlands, & at the very end, show you the finished decorated Christmas tree! Multicolor ornaments cover this old fashioned style tree while red & gold colored ornaments ground the theme. A few sparkling floral stems add texture & sparkle to complete the look!

This tree is lit with incandescent string lights. It has approximately 300 lights (light count) on it. The tree is about 7.5ft tall (without topper).

I grew up in the 50's and 60's and remember my mom decorating with so many of those ornaments. What was new then is vintage now. Of course we no longer have them.
You decorated this tree with memories from my childhood and years gone by. TFS this stunning tree.

Thanks, Chris, this tree harkens back to my childhood and live trees, only we had tinsel, and angel hair. It was placed in the living room, and there was nothing prettier than the tree lit with the big, colorful lights, the sparkling glass ornaments, and a crackling, wood fire in the fireplace. Our trees were alive until Mommy decided that she had to have that futuristic silver tree with the color wheel. My Daddy, however, said it wasn't Christmas without a real tree, so for years we also had a tree in the basement. Thanks for stirring the memories!

I grew up in the late 60s and 70s and loved these glass ornaments my mom and grandmas all used. :) Some were as old as the 1940s, and most were made in Germany. Beautiful tree! TFS lovely job.
