Castle Serenity Pellet Stove - First Two Weeks

Had a lopi for 14 years never any problems. Just bought a comfort built hp 22, great reviews, 2200.00 ordered from tractor supply. We will see how this works soon.

Damn dude. You’ve taken something simple, that people have been doing for hundreds of years and made it really complicated. You don’t need a software program to figure out anything. Look at we at the manufacturer says it should heat and go from there. If it’s not enough, supplement. Discoloration? Yup. That h as opens when you heat things…🙄 I couldn’t stand to listen to the rest. The castle serenity is an awesome pellet stove that I recommend to everyone. We had two at our last house and two at our new home one in the house and one in the studio they’re awesome.

The unit is manufactured in China. Their QC is horrible. Upon receiving the unit, it wouldn't fire because they hadn't set the high temp switch correctly, so, had to remove and reset the switch ourselves. Lately, it would feed pellets, and tech support said it was an auguer set screw not screwed into the auger flat spot. That resulted in taking the back panel off, working on it, and that was NOT the problem. Tech is good if you get the right person.

Did the stove you bought qualify for the tax credits for biomass stoves? I know they need to be on the EPA list to qualify.
