It is also important that the transport planes are not assigned to supply delivery because then you can't drop, of course as soon as you landed you can activate that air mission

You forgot the most important thing. Downgrade your game so you have no limit on how many paratroopers you can produce, then completly abuse the system and land on every tile of enemy land.

I don't know what I am doing wrong. My division is able to paradrop, I have complete air superiority in every region, I have hundreds of transport planes in the airport, no mission on them, I assigned the paratroopers, but it just WONT GO. I fucking HATE how complicated this needs to be. WHY DOESNT IT TELL ME WHAT IM DOING WRONG???

I always use this as disposable unit to invade japan as china rather than trying to build navy for decades, spam as much paratrooper in one port, and its surrounding and hope for the best. after that I forgot I had paratrooper

You need to note how many planes are required for a given unit. I’m currently sitting on 100 transports that are not set to supply and paradrop won’t work. It keeps saying an additional air wing is needed but doesn’t say how many. I have four paratroop divisions each with 6 battalions. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤬

I love Hoi4 community, it is really helpfull and straight ot the point. Thanks to videos and tutorials like this ive just ate france and poland on non historical and made alliance (axis) with yugoslavia, hungary and czech and ofc italy. Pure gold and im glad that i got this game on my birthday.

My Paratroopers wont start and I have Transportplanes

This is how you do it
Finer details

Make an army with just airborne
Click the airborne drop order in the army command menu
Make sure you have transport planes and your para in the same province
That province will light up teal now
Click the province itself
Then right click what province you want to execute the para drop
Execute the command in the army menu

bro it kept asking for 1 additional transport wing, but after that, i reinforced over 50 transport planes and still says the same thing

I have still a problem. In your video they show you, how many paratoppers and how many transpoters needed. But in my game they just 2 divisions. And if i have enoth air, my genral sais that there is no problem, but they dont do anything...

When i click on the paratrooper order with paratroopers, no airbases become highlighted. Not even the one with 4 transport planes
