Goodbye Inkborn Fables, it is time for a set full of Magic n' Mayhem! Set 12 is finally here and today I will show you what it has to offer! From tons of new augments to the new Set Mechanic called Charms, there is quite a lot! Charms are powerful upgrades to your board that you can purchase for gold directly from your shop. Some of them are not as powerful as the others, but they surely can help. Free reforger and remover anyone? But what about the aesthetics? In my honest opinion this set looks absolutely amazing. Even the battlepass board is stunning and I for sure will add that to my collection. But enough talking, let's find out more about Set 12!

I'm very concerned about charms, honestly.
They sound like they will be most likely fun to play. That much is fine, but I am worried about how fun they will be to play against.
If they can create such extreme swings like "prismatic for a round" semi regularly, they will be a HUGE source of frustration for players since there is basically no counterplay or warning about that, it will just feel like "Ups, you lose because your opponent got lucky on charms this round".

Most other effects in TFT are symmetrical and largely feel symmetrical too, even if artifact and support item anvils sometimes make strain that idea, Charms might push that over the edge to where they don't feel symmetrical just due to the sheer variety of charms that are available.

Set 10 was my favorite set so far but I didn't really enjoy 11 and stopped playing after a month. Hopefully set 12 brings me back

i think i like what their doing with both set mechanic and other parts, all thats left is how units link up through traits, also who was that big blue guy next to morg

also augment space definitely needed some new things so glad, will probably need a bit to balance tho

i do wish hero augments could do more interesting things outside just tank = big guy who also carries
shen was a good example but still is a tank

maybe fufill some peoples support fantasys or something

When u r happy that u finaly dont have to play vs norra/yuumi decks anymore and join the new tft set just to see norra and yuumi team up again xD

charms to me sound like encounters that are player specific that can be rerolled.
sounds like fun, but also a headache not only in the late game, but balance wise as well

I already love the aesthetic. It's not as good as remix rumble, but definitely a step up from inkborn fables

Looks amazing, just absolutely LOVE high fantasy themes, they are so much better than all the rest have been.
No hate to set 10, what they accomplished using that theme was increadible, but gameplay wise it was far from my favorite set. This is so much better to me.

I think the battle pass map with the flowers as gold was pretty decent. Been using that all of the time recently

Charms are such a big change, I am really curious what their impact will be.

For huge rolldown turns where you buy one and go in they won‘t do a ton, but for slowrolling or just naturalling it will be very noticeable - 10% fewer units seen.

Might be enough to change how reroll (especially 3 cost) is played where rolling to 50 each turn isn‘t good unless you have a lot of potential smaller upgrades to hit right now and instead you want to go well above 50 gold and have one bigger rolldown?

I know bagpipes are changed as well, maybe that counteracts it a bit? I haven’t looked at the math behind them yet.

I really like the charms mechanic. It really does feel like casting a spell each round, and it should be fun.

The traits and the new augments all seem fresh too. Really looking forward to this set

Charms sound like they could be pretty awful if they only last one round and not the entire stage. You could RNG into fighting a person using their charm back to back to back.
