That’s Desoto High. They won the state championship 74-14 this past season. Duncanville, their rival school, also won the state championship, 49-33. The schools are only separated by a 10-minute drive, but they’re in different conferences for some reason due to size and student attendance. Desoto won the last game they played and Desoto is ranked as the 5th best football team in the nation while Duncanville is ranked as the 7th best football team in the nation. It’s crazy out this way for sure. Much respect. 🏈
