Dirk made The Spurs better. He never made it easy for the big 3 to make a deep run into the playoffs. With or without talent around him, he fought tooth and nail. I’d dare say that Dallas and San Antonio was the Bird and Magic of the west in the 2000’s, always competing and pushing each other further.

Thanks for the memories sir. I disliked matching the Spurs up in the Playoffs against Dirk and the Mavericks, but I now look fondly at how they both competed to exhaustion. 👍
