I’m not sure about Zellweger's performance as Judy; for me something is lacking. I also think the movie ‘Judy’ didn’t focus enough on Garland's unique self-awareness and intelligence. Zellweger should have mimed to Garland's songs, she didn’t do justice to Garland's singing in my opinion.

This movie literally did nothing to tell about Judy's childhood and while Rene is a great actress, she looks and sounds NOTHING like Judy!!!

I don’t even think that her voice was even that bad. I feel like she could’ve worked on it. She could’ve went out a few nights a week went to a bar, drunk, margaritas, and shots and shit. Smoke some cigarettes or smoke a joint get your voice to that greediness that Judy had you can, hear your voice afterwards by doing a lengthy process for about 6 to 7 weeks cause that’s how long it takes for your voice to heal from smoking but if she had to ask me voice that would’ve worked another actor who did this was Andrea day when she played in Billie Holiday versus America, she smoked and drink for that session for that just so she can sound more like Billie Holiday that’s dedication Then on top of that I feel like she should’ve got a vocal coach, which would’ve helped her and would’ve studied Judy Garland‘s voice because that show that she was doing for the London scene was totally out of line. It was like they had took the song for the whole entire song. It was going good sound like Judy given off Judy and then. The ending came and I was like what the hell Judy never sounded like that until I found garland singing in Baltimore and throughout this performance, she is drunk she sings the same song towards the same part of the ending and sounds exactly like the actor and that’s what shocked me
