Scott Brown's illustrious career at Celtic F.C. has seen him become an iconic figure for the Scottish football giant. Spanning over a decade, Brown's time at Celtic Park has been marked by numerous milestones, awards, and unforgettable moments.

In November 2014, Scott Brown signed a 4-year contract extension with Celtic, reaffirming his commitment to the club until 2018. His 300th appearance for the team came on 21 December 2014, in a match against Dundee United. Over the course of the 2014-15 season, Brown made 48 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals.

Brown's only goal of the 2015-16 season was scored on 20 September 2015, in a 6-0 victory over Dundee. He continued to make his mark during the 2016-17 season, scoring a goal in a Champions League play-off match against Hapoel Be'er Sheva and netting the 25th league goal of his Celtic career in a win over Dundee. On 25 January 2017, Brown reached another milestone, making his 400th appearance for Celtic in a match against St Johnstone.

Accolades and Testimonial Match

Brown's outstanding performance in the 2017-18 season earned him the PFA Scotland Players' Player of the Year award, joining the legendary Henrik Larsson as the only other player to win the award twice. Brown also secured the SFWA Footballer of the Year award for 2017-18, a season that saw Celtic achieve a second consecutive treble, known as the "double treble." In recognition of his contributions to the club, Celtic granted Brown a testimonial match in May 2018, played against a Republic of Ireland XI at Celtic Park.

Record-Breaking Achievements

In December 2018, Brown made his 500th appearance for Celtic, and earlier that season, he became the first Scottish player to play in 100 UEFA club fixtures. His dedication to Celtic was further solidified in January 2019 when he declined offers from abroad, including one from Australian team Western Melbourne FC, and extended his contract with Celtic until the summer of 2021.

Notable Incidents and Final Seasons

During a heated Old Firm match against Rangers at Celtic Park in March 2019, Brown was involved in several incidents with opposing players. His behaviour during the match garnered mixed reactions, but ultimately, the Scottish FA found Brown not guilty of "failing to act in the best interest of Scottish football."

On 6 December 2020, Brown reached yet another milestone, making his 600th appearance for Celtic in a match against St Johnstone. However, he received a red card in a match against Livingston in January 2021, following a clash with an opposing player.

End of an Era

On 25 March 2021, it was announced that Brown would be leaving Celtic at the end of the 2020-21 season after signing a pre-contract agreement with Aberdeen. His departure marks the end of a 14-year stint at the club, during which he became an iconic figure and cemented his place in the team's history.
