It don’t matter if you are using autotune. You still have to sing close enough to the pitch the song is in, for it to grab your voice and put it in the correct pitch

Eye opening, informative... though part of me says, I shouldn't Like it at all! Many singers take this for granted and sound pitch perfect in studio, but can't sing a line live! Such is the state of the art formerly known as vocals!

This is the reason why Kishor sir, Mohommad rafi sir and lata g and many more 60s artist are legends. They don't have these pitch correction software. They are so upto the mark pitch corrected from their talent, their voice
