2016 Battle of Midway Commemoration

This year marks the 74th anniversary of the Navy’s, and the nation’s, most historically significant naval victory. The Battle of Midway (June 4-7, 1942) changed the tide of the war in the Pacific and the course of world history. CVN77 Sailors commemorated the event onboard the ship on June 1st, with speaker Laura Orr from the Hampton Roads Naval Museum.
