Supporters of the monster state want you to believe that it’s never enough. Spending, taxing, debt - and the like. President Madison and President Jefferson both saw things much differently - two examples on infrastructure and debt we never see today.

Wish our politicians thought like Madison did.

This podcast should be played at Times Square. What a different mind & spirit would be found in NY.

I disagree that politicians never exercise restraint of their own agendas in favor of upholding their oath to the Constitution. Obama on DACA said that he could not issue an executive order concerning DACA and actually did exercise that restraint for a while. Ultimately, he turned his back on the Constitution of course and issued the executive order anyway. But he did talk the talk for a while and actually walked the walk for a while. I don't give Obama credit for having any integrity, so I don't imagine that he talked the talk and walked the walk for a little bit out of principle, but he did actually act as if he had principles concerning his oath, even if I believe that it was disingenuous.
