I remember my PS2 launch experience. My girlfriend and I slept outside overnight in front of Best Buy. There was a huge line, but we managed to snag one. Congratulations on your snags. I was successful this year for the series X at Microsoft and Best Buy. So far, I've been perfect in my attempts to get next-gen consoles on release.

I pre-ordered on the Microsoft Store but I had to ship it to a different address because Microsoft doesn't ship to Armed Forces addresses. Military need xboxes too.

For me at launch I have always pick either a ps or Xbox. And that is determined on what game I’m interested in at the time of launch. This year I decided on a Xbox series x. I will eventually get a ps5 but I wouldn’t play it right away so i would just be taking a system from someone else that really wants a ps5 at launch.

Seems like crazy high demand for new consoles in USA.There is no such crazy hype for new consoles here in Russia. Got my PS5 pre order without problems 7 hours after pre order started and it's still available for pre order at DNS (Russian wallmart basically). Only PS5 digital sold out pretty quickly. Xbox X and S are still available for pre order on multiple sites as I'am writing this comment. (18 hours after official pre order start).

I wanted one at the gamestop near me, and they only 12, but 12 people waiting line got their pre-orders. I'll have to wait til november, and hope that they'll have some in stock launch day.

I managed to pre-order the Series S with a fiew extra accessories and I'm excited to receive it I also got a 2tb seagate white game pass ultimate hardrive so I'm gonna have enough space.

yea i pi9cked up a bundle for800 and it came with 2 controllers spiderman mm ultimate edition dem on souls and destruction allstars so i cant wait for it to show up on my doorstep

Can someone please explain why PRE-orders are “sold out”?? I thought that’s the whole PURPOSE and idea of PRE-ordering something! Lmfaooo. I mean, seriously, you pre-order something, so that by the time it’s available, there’s enough supply. Isn’t that basic economics?!
