As a struggling young teen some 65 years ago, I wondered a lot about life and the world around me. We were members in name only. Church was something some would cuss or ignore, while others embraced. I was 6th generation pioneer heritage but didn't know what that meant. One year, I listened to General Conference on the radio as I helped my dad build a new room on our old farm house. The wisdom and scholarship of what I heard was nothing short of amazing. I pondered, prayed & discovered how someone so unseen could care about and direct me in the right way. How else could I have learned how to claim the blessings of God that now are manifest so many ways in my life and extended family? I am so glad to see so many other youth today seeking ways to continue to grasp the Iron Rod and help Zion prosper and grow until its vision can fill the whole earth. Let's keep building!!!
