Glad he has the balls to say what he thinks in the media. The last of a dying breed. Golf needs more of the personalities from the early days and less monotone stiffs on the press box every week.

There was nothing wrong with he said about the saudis. It’s true. What’s wrong is his reasoning for promoting the league and forfeiting his values to do so.

I like Phil. What Phil said about the PGA is his opinion, I don't agree with it, I don't have to get involved with that, I have better things to do with my life. I find it very interesting that the amount of energy that is being generated by this controversy, like I said I like Phil but he stepped in it. I also love golf and think the PGA is doing a good job. I hope you all have a great day either on the range or the course, this is not something you want to be thinking about in your backswing. Thank you 😊

For those of us that have been to China for business reasons, we know what they think about human life. But we continue to do business with them, so whose a hipocrite?

Both have violations in human rights. It’s blood money from both.

Every sports organization in the world has needed the extra motivation of a lawsuit or a strike to create a more level playing field.

Golf is prestigious yet primitive and needs to evolve. Talking down to Richie Fowler because of his long hair and crapping to Brysons strength. Even messing with courses to even the field when Tiger was dominating. We need to make it more exciting and the old heads need to shup up and step aside.

Wealthy influential people arguing with wealthy influential people about wealth and influence. Regular folks don't care two shits about this. Saudi provides oil to the world. China makes everything for the world. The issues with both are overlooked because of it. Just like your drunk uncle at Christmas time. Not all, but many of the offended people with Phil's comments, take a look in the mirror and ask yourself how you got to where you are. Who got stepped on so you could be wealthy and influential.

Nah, the issue is he's a hypocrite. He points out the atrocities and how you cant trust these people but for the amount of money he's getting he's gonna risk it. For someone at his stage of his career he can risk getting screwed over...he will still be rich. But for a young tour player whos game falls off (think Ricky Fowler) they would be discarded and done forever (career PGA Ban) as the Saudis would dump them like a hot rock as well as his sponsors.

He claims its for the greater good of the game but he's full of shit. It's to line his pockets. This why you will literally see zero or only a handful of PGA players (mostly the ones at the end of career) make the move. This is why you will literally see zero or only a handful of PGA players (mostly the ones at the end of career) make the move. The PGA Tour has the some of the best insurance and retirement of any Sport . They give back to every community they visit through charity. You think the Saudis will do that? They reportedly offered Bryson 230 million just to sign for 15 tournaments. But what happens when he gets hurt or loses his game? They wont pay you and you're done.

The statement actually shows how two faced and greedy Mickleson is. He point out all the bad things when he thinks he's off record but publicly says good things about them. He's most likely burned the bridge on both ends of golf. Don't forget the insider trading scheme he dodged because he testified against the ring leader. Guy is greedy plain and simple.
