ALLER And Prepositions (au - à la - aux - à - en - chez) // French Grammar Course // Lesson 17 🇫🇷

The verb aller in French can be followed by different prepositions (à, à la, au, aux, en, chez). The preposition depend on what come right after, if it's a city, a masculine or feminine noun, a country, etc.
Here is how to choose them:
- Aller à la + feminine noun
- Aller au + masculine noun
- Aller aux + plural nouns
- Aller en + feminine country
- Aller au + masculine country
- Aller aux + plural country
- Aller à + city
- Aller chez + person, business, store

Hi.. i am confused a little that why we are not keeping the word Aller in the last three sentences you discussed at the end of the lecture? Example Aller + chez but in sentence only chez? Same is the case with other preposition also ex etre etc. Can you plz explain by what rule this is happening??
