In this video Erika and myself head to the ancient ruins of Tula.

Situated 1 hour 45 minutes north of Mexico city in the state of Hidalgo the ruins of Tula can be found. At a 75 peso per person the protected and on going archeological sight of Tula is a sight to be seen. With a large cactus gardens and souvenirs to be purchased a day trip could easily be made to this site. The Toltec's where the creators of the site and not a huge amount is known about this civilization. The main attraction is the Pyramid of Quetzalcoatl, which is topped by four 4-metre-high (13 ft) basalt columns carved in the shape of Toltec warriors.

The Toltecs were the major tribe before the Aztecs, the Toltecs broke up into other tribes and the Aztecs were one of those tribes.
