Can't say he affected me too much. I grew up with mostly European comics (Asterix, Spirou and Fantasio). The American comics I read were more Carl Barks, Don Rosa, so, the Disney Duck stuff. Oh, and Hägar the Horrible, of course! Still, it's obvious he was a legend for many people and while I never got into his comics I later consumed a lot of derived media, like the Marvel movies and some cartoons. Really liked the X-Men.
