Its good he keeps repeating he wants legal counsel and is trying to plead the 5th. If this escalates, the cops won't look very good in court when it comes out that he repeatedly tried to invoke his rights yet continued to be questioned.

A department with integrity and with consequences for unlawful behavior would immediately suspend that officer, until he received basic training on the constitution. “Once stated, to remain silent and wants counsel present… ALL QUESTIONING MUST CEASE.” Ignorance is obviously taught to violate the citizen’s rights.
