Nothing amusing so why did she chuckle at the end when she said women in their 60s/70s are still "clinging" to their hormone therapy ? Those can be just as vital as other years and actually as most retire in this age range, they would prefer not to feel like shit during what should be an enjoyable stage of life.

Thanks for the good information. I'm a transwoman, age 67, and will be on estrogen for the rest of my life. It's good to know the risks are minimal

TYPE OF therapy is not mentioned here; oral? Topical? Inserts? and urogenital atrophy for post menopausal women is not mentioned. this is a VERY critical quality of life issue.

Is she talking about the synthetic kind of estrogen or the bio-identical kind made from yams?

I am in my 70's and having anxiety and can't sleep....if I take bioidentical will I have breakthrough bleeding? I would prefer taking Prempro but no one will give it to me....

I would love to hear about testosterone pellets for breast cancer survivors. In the interest of brain and bone health. Thank you.

Sounds like menopause has symptoms similar to opiate withdrawal.

I am 62 this year, and I’ve not had menopause. Am I likely to get it any time soon?

The medical field doesn't make a lot of money treating menopause symptoms that is why they'll never be a viable option. Its more profitable to make money off of health concerns that come to women who were never offered HRT ever. I'm 59, 60 in March and my gynecologist is hesitant to give me transdermal Estradiol that has less chance of causing strokes. I have to get a mammogram and take a much higher dose of progesterone when I start this. Its like they want older women to suffer. I don't think having an extra 30 to 40 lbs of extra weight on my body is healthy either. I cannot lose weight if my life depended on it.

After 60s better to start with HGH even if it’s more expensive one and 1000 potential cancer that’s crazy 😜
