"This tank is almost fully stocked now" Next week on MD Fish tanks, the 16FT aquarium gets delivered! 😁 Phenomenal, beautiful piece of work on this MD. Congrats 👏

You don't understand how happy I would be if I had a tank like this. I mean imagine waking up, rubbing your eyes walking towards the living room and watching this tank in all its glorious amazingness.

I don't understand why people would complain about putting a lot of plants in at the start. It's far better to go hard on the plants early on and go extremely slow on adding fish than the other way around. It's perfectly fine to save up for the fish afterwards if you are low on budget.

Why do people get annoyed at the amount of plants that you start with? You're a content creator who is trying to share what your vision for the tanks should be. Makes sense for you to overload the plants to make it look as close to final as possible. I actually quite love it!

Well that was a perfectly timed update - literally just sat down for lunch and now I get top quality content to enjoy while I eat :) I love this tank…

I've always had planted tanks in my bedroom on set timers for the lighting. I love waking up to my tanks and going to bed watching my tanks. I always had a peaceful sleep and always woke up with a fresh good morning.

Hey MD, I use the FX6/FX4 filters on aquariums and a very easy mess free way to disconnect them from the hoses is to leave the power on shut the intake hose valve off then fully disconnect the hose. Once that is done then let it bubble for a few seconds then close the outlet valve but DO NOT disconnect this hose until you unplug the power supply. If you follow these steps there will be enough of an air pocket in the top of the canister to allow the lid to be removed mess free. Thanks for another great video you aquarium looks great

This has been by far one of the coolest aquariums I've seen you set up. With the addition of the angels it just makes the amazon biotope feeling. Truly amazing!

That’s a thing of beauty. I’d have a couch right in front to watch all the time. You were right about the angels being stunning in the environment. Looks great!

Beautiful! You have done an amazing job with all your tanks not just the 8ft. Thank you for sharing your ups and downs and not just the good things.

That tank is a showpiece for sure. Also, the mix of fish is excellent. That is exactly how I would do this. Great plan and work.

That Java fern is going to go berserk. I had some in a c02 tank on top of drift wood like that before and it took over half my tank on accident. The problem is that you cant just trim it like a stem plant or other easy plants to propagate when it turns into a bush like that. You have to find the longer leaves manually and clip those

Beautifully planted and beautifully stocked! You've spoiled us again MD😄

To your point about stock, I've experienced the same thing. People love to see tons of colors and activity in tanks. That's what makes your builds stand out. Purist keepers might flinch a bit, but the fish and plants are healthy, and people love the tanks overall - and that's what's most important!

This is probably my favorite tank that you have ever done. I've dreamed of doing a large planted tank with loads of tiny fish. I love enjoying the hobby vicariously through you! Looking forward to watching this tank mature with you.

I absolutely agree, plants are so beneficial so I always heavily plant when starting a new aquarium. I know from personal experience my heavily planted 29 gal never had an issue consuming any ammonia and nitrite at lightening speed (unlike my 10 gal with a few slow growing plants). When the plants settled in my 29 I never had an issue with ammonia/nitrite spiking. It makes life so much easier, also the plants are beautiful and watching them grow brings me so much joy (the fish feel safer too so everyone wins!)
