Ppop is definitely the best Pop genre for me because it sounds so authentic, the visuals are great, amazing vocals and dancing skills, and they sing and dance LIVE in their performances.
If there is another Pop genre that can do that, I will be impress .
Ppop is built with wild dreams and RAW TALENT as a foundation.
No wonder Ppop is rising

TPOP has good groups and visually appealing, they have k beauty standard in my opinion. While PPOP has very pinoy features (have dark or moreno members) and also their songs vary in genre and sound. have very distinct Filipino sound for me, esp the Maharani of Alamat.

As a Filipino who is living in Thailand, my personal favorites are Pixxie, Proxie and New Country. For me, New Country has the best representation of a Thai song for a T-pop group but not sure tho. I like their song "Stand By". I like the bands and solo singers more than the T-Pop groups such as Tattoo Colour, The Toys, Nont Tanont, Billkin and PP. It's just my personal taste

For P-pop, of course SB19 is the face of P-pop. But other than SB19, for me Alamat has the best representation of Filipino songs for a P-pop group. My personal favorite P-pop groups are BINI, SB19, VXON, BGYO and more.

Let's be open to exploring different kinds of music. It's so fun 😊

As someone who's working in the production field here in PH, I am overly impressed as to how Thailand's Media Production has evolved over time! From dramas to music videos, they earned this round. I'm not gonna say that PPOP won vis music too, as well, since I cannot understand the language.

It's such a shame that PPOP has many promising groups in terms of talents, but some of them aren't clicking enough just because the production of videos are on mid-tier. Most of the reason is because, most production here's isn't involving young employees for young and innovative yet modern ideas, reason being why amazing PPOP MVs are mostly produced by a foreign team; 1stOne, DiOne, Horizon. Kudos to SB19 for still pulling of an amazing video production despite of them having a local team. But a little step is still a step, and I know PPOP is positively moving forward.

SOME PPOP FANS HERE ARE ANNOYING AF.

Didn’t we fight for PPOP when our idols are being called by our own countrymen as a KPOP CARBON COPY? How did we respond? We tell them that good videos, make up on idols, good clothing isn’t exclusive to KPOP alone. It is an international trend.

And now that we’ve seen the good quality videos from TPOP, you tell them exactly the same; they don’t have the identity and they look like KPOP. COMPLETELY HYPOCRITES. Stop this mindset.

Is it hard to admit that TPOP videos are AMAZING? They worked hard for it. Just as much hard work are current idols are doing for the positive advancement of PPOP in the means of production.

Reactors have already concluded that the FILIPINO language sounded more appropriate and tailor-fitted for songs, in rhyme and rhythm for sung or rap verses. It just sounds good and I agree. So that is the edge of PPOP.

PRODUCTION WISE, both PPOP AND TPOP are toe to toe with each other and can already measure up even with American and KOREAN pop.

PPOP owes a lot to SB19 for bravely daring to dream and gain a foothold of the foreign market and in that sense, has given Philippine music a boost in the world stage.
