Lindsey, that is an incredibly inventive Everyday Hoodie! I love how you addressed the sleeve to accommodate the bulkier fabric. That turned out so darling! I love it! You achieved such a great fit. The princess seams work perfectly with the quilt. And you're right, I never would have noticed the sleeve insert. It's actually ideal with all the patch work! What a pretty color scheme and so cute with the ladybugs! 😍

I made a jacket from a quilt very similar to yours. I serged the seams and had to add fabric to the sleeve like yours as well. 🙂

It's beautiful!! That is the best thing I've seen all year. And it's obviously comfortable and you enjoy wearing it. It shows. 😊😊It's so magical when an item is all of the things and you made it yourself! ✨✨I love sewing. I just got a queen sized floral quilt for free and was wanting a clothing item. Ideas are brewing now... I kind of want a car coat. I even added the Singer quilted garments book to my collection for ideas. Lol
