Cosatu march over various economic issues
Показать описание
Workers affiliated to labour federation, COSATU, have painted parts of the country red, voicing their dissatisfaction with various economic issues. They have demanded an increase in the national social grant, salary payments in certain municipalities, allowing municipal workers to hold political party office, and saving the failing state-run Post Office. Despite a poor turnout, some businesses still closed for the day, anticipating possible violence that often accompanies these marches.
