theres always something faster but for pure fun of driving the sti is just amazing. drove the focus rs and was quite disapointed with it. i have a 2017 sti and i dont regret it at all and no ringland faliure ; )

What people don't realize is how much better on a circuit track the RS is. I've driven both and I'm sure STi fans don't know what understeer is until they drive a RWD car that can power oversteer. The RS mid corner on the throttle can POWER OVERSTEER, due to it's torque vectoring clutch packs in the rear. It's fucking incredible, but unfortunately biased STi fans probably still don't know what they are missing. Complain about the interior etc all you want, it doesn't change the fact that an RS is significantly quicker around a track, full stop.

I would pick the STi over the Focus RS, based on these videos alone. The Focus RS looks so shit inside, and that farting exhaust isn't appealing to me at all. It also doesn't seem to drive as fast as its 350hp suggests it should.

Going to wait for the next gen STi, should be around 2019. I'm already set to upgrade, but I'm forcing myself to wait for the FA engine.

I care more about how fun the car is and the whole driving experience. Don't really give a fuck about 0-60/0-100 times.
