This song was my great grandma’s favorite song. She always had the biggest smile on her face whenever I visited her in the nursing home. I tried to go as much as possible because I knew we didn’t have much time together. The lyric “Even children get older
And I'm getting older too” speaks to me because I was a little kid when I was visiting her but I did grow up fast. I didn’t understand the lyrics back then but I do now. It’s pretty much how I view my little sister now, as she grows up fast I realize that I am too. Another lyric that speaks to me is “Well, I've been afraid of changin'

Graduating high school and going to college was hard for me because I was comfortable being around all my friends in high school. In college, I don’t know anyone. But then I just remember I have to stay strong just like how my great grandma was. She was one of the bravest people I knew. Now the guitars in the sound like my childhood memories playing in the background as I’m listening to the lyrics I now understand.
