How To Start 2014 - 2021 Mini Cooper With Dead Remote Key Fob Battery

A quick video tutorial on how to start a 2014 - 2020 Mini Cooper that has a dead remote key fob battery and won't start. You will need to hold the Mini Cooper remote key fob to the key icon on the steering column, then start the vehicle as you normally would.

What if You have no baterie on The key ?

got my mini started, but after switching off, it still does not work. I need to hold the fob to the steering column again to start the engine. Unlocking doors does not work, fob is dead although I changed batteries twice :-(
