VFIO is a wonderful thing

Just a small video showing the ability to pass through a PCI device to a virtual machine, in this case windows 10. Yes I own a legal license to use windows 10.

Things are not all roses, I am having trouble sorting out CPU stuff, I think my Ryzen has some instruction set compatibility for me too look more in depth into and at the moment I am emulating a first gen i7 to stop blue screens at boot.

This is straight up qemu from the command line, I can and have used libvirt wrapping and do intend to use it in the future but I have found making a "gaming vm" is much better suited for just running it as if it where an entire yuge process stack acting on your image files, it makes it easier for me at least to just sit down and game.
