You and Hannah Bayles reacting to HSM is what’s keeping me going these days 🤣

The choreography was Kenny Ortega -- he also did Newsies, Dirty Dancing, and a ton of other dance movies.

"He's a stoner" yes, but not the secret he's keeping from his stoner skater group 😂

Also the song is basically the cliques saying everyone has to fit their little role and mold, and that straying out of their stereotype wasn't to be accepted/allowed. That's why they say "stick to the status quo", because not doing so disrupts their fragile and admittedly toxic little high school ecosystem.

You’re super close! This came out in 2006 (although the sequel was 2007!) Also the “cheesy but good” choreography is PEAK Kenny Ortega. I hope you react to all the songs from these movies (there’s 3 of them) because the choreo only ramps up in the second one

Spent all my high school years waiting for the moment when everyone would break into song and choreography we all somehow knew because of this movie🙂

Please react to Vanessa Hudgens singing "There are worse things I could do" from "Grease live"! I think she sounds amazing there!

A fact I always loved and found hilarious was that Corbyn (the other main guy with the afro) was actually a dancer from a really young age and had to learn to play basketball to do this.. and here you are singing about not being anything else than a jock XD

Oh my goodness, this was my favorite movie, I was obsessed! I saw a thing not long ago that talked about how everyone loved Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens, don’t love her voice) and not as big a fan of Sharpay. But, as we got older we saw that she was focused on a boy and Sharpay was focused on her dream of performing.

Zeke bakes
Martha brake dances/hip hop dancer
Unknown 3rd party plays the cello.
One of the most iconic scenes in the first movie.

Songs From A Suitcase, you seemed a little confused at the beginning so let me see if I can help.
This came out when movies about high school liked to say you can be only one thing. If you play basketball you can only play basketball, if you are a nerd you are only a nerd, if you are popular you can only be popular. So this song is kids in school finding out that two of their classmates broke out of their thing (their status quo) so they start revealing what they secretly like to do and the blonde girl not liking it because she ruled the school with the old system. A Basketball player that likes to bake, A nerd that likes to dance to Hip Hop, And a Skater that likes to play the cello

The guy with the bow tie is a young Thayne Jasperson who plays Samuel Seabury in Hamilton!

I agree that this was maybe not Ashley Tisdale´s (Sharpay, the diva chick) strongest vocal moment, but I feel like she really did a great job in all her other songs, including the ones from the sequels (also Humuhumunukunukuapua´a, which I know people might disagree with) and also her voice definitely improved over the years even more.

This was my favourite song when HSM came out. I remember going on holiday to Florida in 2006 and everyone was talking about it but it hadn’t reached the U.K. yet, then I went home and it suddenly went huge. I love how they’re all singing and dancing about how singing and dancing isn’t cool 😂

Martha, the nerd who loves dancing, such an underrated character and an even more underrated actress and dancer

Omg, you should TOTALLY react to "I Want It All" & "A Night to Remember" from High School Musical 3. They really upped the budget for the musical numbers in those films. 😂 Infact, honestly... all the songs from HSM3 are great. Would not be mad if your reacted to all of them. 😂
