Been a casual nerf fan for some years. Decided to get the duel xshot pack today to play with my son due to the can targets. Thought about getting into foam blasters more and came across your channel. Exactly what I was after. Subbed.

Fun tactic with the vigilante, since it can shoot with the barrels opened, you can fire a shot, prime the blaster, break it open to reload one dart, and when people break cover to charge you since you're reloading, you can just shoot them with your remaining shot. It also feels pretty badass to whip it open and closed when reloading. Not really war practical, but pretty fun.

Zuru is the only one to make really imtimidating photos of people using the blasters and firing it when they haven't even finished priming it.

If you want a single shot break action, and if you’re willing to mod, a singled sledgefire is the way to go. Mine shoots over 110 FPS and is stupidly accurate with worker half darts. It’s a true nerf sniper. I followed the MTB guide for it (except for the spring upgrade, will do soon) but since I’m in the states I had to improvise on the single shell. For those curios I used 5 inches of 17/32 brass fit with etape and super glue into a sledgefire shell length of 1/2 inch pvc. I then cut two 1/2 inch long sections of 3/4 inch pvc, and dremeled them out a bit until they could fit over the half inch, one at the front and one at the back. I then dremeled some grooves in it so that it could fit in the breech (there are some small ridges)

Break then pump seems needlessly cumbersome for only one or two shots. Just seems impractical. the 6 shooter seems the best of this group. Looks like a great side arm, and reasonably dual wield-able.

I actually use the reflex on a regular basis, its really simple yet effective. It has 6 shots, its east to load and prime, has decent fire speed. I like it

The Reflex 6 with a 5.5K Alphahawk spring and brassed barrels can shoot around 130 - 150 with good accuracy. You might want to 3D print a more rigid priming handle though because the standard one is quite flimsy. One of my favorite pistols of all time. Favorite of course is the Hammershot though.

Also interesting on the Reflex is that the loop is sideways, which makes it easier to dual-wield and have something to catch and hook the primer to shoot instead of needing your other hand. Also, it is easier due to only one motion. Unlike some slide pistols that require you to prime the slide back and then push it forward to complete the prime (Kronos, for example), this one is locked and ready with just the prime pull back.
