The Xiaomi Fimi A3 Vs Hubsan Zino Video

I think the Hubsan ZIno and Xiaomi Fimi A3 are quite similar, as it goes i want to have a look at both of them side by side and see what we get. In today's video we go over the video as that is the main feature that people are going to buy both of these quadcopters for. I also go over (briefly) the batteries as well as the flights and if i think they are similar of different, and why.

A little over a year ago there were a lot of bad cameras on unstable quads at that price point. I'm thrilled that we have at least 2 great choices in that niche now for clean, stable video. It blows my mind every day how much tech is available to us on a tight budget. Thanks for what you do! Cheers!

The video on the A3 is much better if you go real slow. Those fast turns kill the A3 video but going slow the video looks great

Hi Jd, I have quite a few Hubsan drones and have been more than happy, but this time I ordered the Fimi A3 back in November, a price we have to pay when shipping from China, mine arrived in Sydney on New years day, so I am thinking I should get it next week, I also ordered a spare battery, some range extenders and a cover for the gimbal and no they do not come with one, plus I also ordered a sun shield from a Hubsan 107 which will fit with a small modification, so I should be all set to go when it arrives!! graet video mate. The Zino sure has gotten much better. I haven't seen much videos of the Fa3, looks ok. Better then what we first started flying. Lol

Great video JD. Sorry i did not watch this sooner, been dealing with my father, and he then passed away just over a week ago, so now time to play catch-up on videos. Great video comparison. I do agree with you that the Fimi seemed better than then Zino in some aspects and zino is better in others. I'm going to have to watch the other Fimi videos later. Zino footage looks a bit soft in comparison, even though it's 4k. And the skipping of movement when panning sideways is more noticeable in the Zino. I would take the Fimi tbh because 4k is useless for YouTube as they downgrade the footage on upload to 2.7k ish, and most people can't tell the difference between the two. Zino is good, fimi (A3 and X8SE) are godly😁 Nice comparison JD, I was waiting to see the footage side by side. Glad I made the right choice 😉😍😁✌️

Hi jd, good comparison mate and I agree with most of it for sure..
Here's what I think, I think the zino is a better looking drone (probably one of the coolest looking around to be fair) I think the transmitter of the fimi looks better then the zino and I think it would feel better in the hands too, but as we know the dim screen let's it down, I totally agree the fimi footage did look quite a bit clearer then the zino footage and the trees looks stunning in it, although I do think the zinos footage was quite a lot smoother even when it was flight in a straight line with no panning, lol fly ability though I can't add to that one but from what I've seen both seem to fly very well.. 😊

I see where they offer the camera cover cheap at BangGood but I don't see if one is supposed to come with it. I'll ask Tibor Von if the one he just got did. As always, thanks my Friend for doing these so we don't have to.

Are you sure you labeled the onboard videos correctly? Your description seems opposite to what I see

Thing a3 MUCH BETTER camera jd what a good concentration of colors and white balance and has the fimi A3 much better GPS

Hi JD, the FIMI X8 SE is the alternative to the ZINO...however you can test it.

The Fimi only has a 2 axis gimbal not 3.
