"Nip it in the bud" is the correct term 😊 It comes from gardening, when you cut a flower in its bud stage, you stop it from continuing to open up - so basically putting a quick end to something. 😄

Tinea versicolor is a fungus that develops commonly during summer time or when a person sweats more. Common around skin folds where the forearm and biceps meet as well as neck and back.

Most fungal infections respond well to these topical agents, which include: Clotrimazole (Lotrimin AF) cream or lotion and Miconazole (Micaderm) cream.

I remember years ago I had this all over my stomach and a bit above, I didn’t know what it was and was convinced it would be like that forever. Eventually had my first appointment with you and was so relieved

Yes! My doctor specifically recommended Selsun Blue (just the Blue type) and it worked great for me!

Yep! This is exactly what I experienced when I was younger . I went to see ski specialist and he told me to put the anti dandruff shampoo on leave it overnight then shower. It did not take long to get rid of this and I have never got it again

I think I caught this when I went to a super expensive hammam on my trip to Istanbul - had white patches like this all over my back. Shampoos didn’t help in my case but I got some yeast tablets prescribed by my GP and it disappeared. Took quite a while to heal the damaged skin though

I had it in the creases of my nose forever. I always thought it was dry skin. I started using nizorol* anti dandruff shampoo and I haven't seen it since I've been using it.

Ketoconazole is great for your hair, too. Use it 3-4x per week and you’re set.

I lived in a hot, humid coastal town. Many summers our whole family had to put Selsun Blue on our backs for a few minutes before washing it off.

#1. Your skin is flawless!
#2. I have tinea ALL OVER and it's almost taken ALL of my beautiful tan pigment, leaving this splotchy ridiculous look. People constantly think i have vitiligo. Ive tried selsun blue, prescription pills along with prescription creams that go ALL OVER your ENTIRE body, etc. NOTHING HAS WORKED. Do i have to use the at m selsun blue for the rest of my life? How does it work and can you give directions on how and when and how often exactly to use it? Also which selsun blue is best for it?

For sulphur body soap, what I heard is anti germs. Does this means the same as anti fungal? If yes, does sulphur body soap help with most of the fungal skin infection?

The info I get from Googling so confusing
