It sucks Meredith felt like she had to give back the Harper Avery awards. 😟 I’m not a fan of this storyline. Everyone on weed was much more fun.

Just cause the man was an a-hole doesn't mean the hospital, family and award are also a-holes. It sucks that they did the storyline like this instead of using it as a way to show how people can grow and use the negative for positive change. Wish they hadn't done this Harvey Weinstein inspired storyline. Couldn't the Harper Avery award have just been one of the few good ones that didn't come with all these strings attached? Such a downer.

Tbh I hate this storyline.., since the early days in the show that award was considered to be like the holy grail...it was pretigous...things of legend.. and now harper avery is tarnished so now the award is too.
I don't mind addressing the issue of sexual harassment but in a different storyline would have been better. Also as someone said...this show is turning into avery's anatomy

I love Jackson, but I have said it from day 1 that getting involved with the Avery’s when they bought the hospital was the worst idea possible.

As far as comments go about why would they give the awards back....I (think) they're trying to say that the award WAS named after him for a reason... he was an amazing, brilliant, forward thinking surgeon BUT now knowing that he was actually "also" a serious pos, that preyed on the very women that looked up to him, they dont want anything from him. (So to speak). More so because they are women and he hurt other women. The women on this show are strong enough to say... I'm good, I know how good I am and I don't need an award with (his) name on it to show what kind of surgeon I am! I get it. Having said that... I HATE this storyline! Like many have said, this award has been talked about since season 1 and to have it tarnished in this way is sad and kinda... gross🤔🤔🤔! But I 100% knew as soon as it was mentioned about him, Mer would give it back and I truly believe there is NO WAY Elis would have kept it. Granted she would've been mad as hell but she wouldn't have wanted them anymore! Storylines about topics like these should be addressed but they picked a poor way to do it. They turned something that has been amazing symbol for 14 years into a.... joke. 😔. It sucks.... <sigh> Enjoy the episode tonight everybody🤞. Much Love 😁💙

on the previous trailer I said that I would have been annoyed because GA seemed to exploit the newest trend like many other TV shows, but I did applaud them for cleverly masking that reveal with a light toned episode and that I will wait and see what are they gonna do. Now this sneak peek makes it look like they are gonna go the corporate way of covering their asses instead of giving an actual solution to the issue. I really, really hope that's not the case and that this scene is just to make me think they'll do that, but actually they will threat it well and not just as a SJW mission. It will be a shame, as I've been following this show from the beginning and supported it through all the highs and lows (*cough*unceremoniously killing Derek *cough*) only to get a sour taste from this PR stunt.
