I used to carry knives in the 3 1/2 inch range. After that, I found myself sometimes going for smaller blades. Now however, Anything with a blade in the four inch range seems to be my thing. I love my Military 2. It's my favorite. Sometimes, I carry my Native Chief. I recently purchased a Stretch 2 XL. Love that knife.

Honestly the price matters, but I think the short blade would be great, but the larger knives are usually more appealing to me for ergonomics and deeper cuts.

Spry Mini is the right choice for me. I live in a city, so no need for bells & whistles like serrated edge. During war, as a civillian, it's a nice thing that it doesn't look like a menace, so if I am stopped and checked, it won't make me look dangerous
