Gay Expat in Myanmar: Jeewee - Full Interview

Jeewee was raised in the Netherlands but chose Myanmar as his home. He organizes events and safe spaces for the empowerment of local LGBTI community and the interaction with expats. He is part of the team who started the annual LGBTI Film Festival in Yangon called &PROUD three years ago. Their focus is on showcasing movies that promote the different identities and lives of LGBTI people from Asia, especially the Southeast region. They also organize photo exhibition, film-making workshops and the itinerant program, which takes film screenings to other cities, colleges and universities in Myanmar.
